Ann Curry

Ann Curry has worked as a journalist for nearly 45 years. Her focus is on natural disasters, as well as war zones. Her journey to an enviable career after she began her broadcasting career by working as an intern for KTVL Channel 10 in Medford Oregon. She later became the first woman news reporter in the station's history at the age of 22. Then she was promoted to the position of an anchor and reporter at KGW which was an NBC station in Portland, Oregan. Then, four years later, she relocated to Los Angeles and became a reporter at KCBS TV. During her six-year association with the channel, she won two Emmy Awards.
